Skincare Routine For the Colder Months

The colder seasons can be a challenge for your skin. It is important to have a consistent skincare routine, especially as the weather gets colder. Here are some tips to keep in mind as you are getting ready for the cooler months ahead:

Wear sunscreen every day. Even if it is cloudy outside, you need to continue wearing sunscreen to protect your skin from harmful UV rays that can cause sunburn, wrinkles and other problems down the line. Our estheticians can recommend an appropriate SPF level based on your skin type.


Get up early. If possible wake up 30 minutes earlier than usual so you have time to take care of yourself in the morning before leaving for work or school. This will ensure that you get enough sleep each night and don't find yourself running around trying to get ready in a hurry on days when you have less time than usual.


Drink plenty of water throughout the day and eat plenty of fruits and vegetables (especially dark leafy greens). Drinking enough water helps keep skin hydrated.
