Do men get Brazilian waxes?
Yes — and it's far more common than most people realize. Male Brazilian waxing is one of our growing services at Bare. Whether it's for hygiene, athletic performance, personal preference, or partner preference, there's no wrong reason — and no judgment here.
Does men's waxing hurt more than women's?
The discomfort is similar. Men often have coarser hair, which can mean a slightly more intense first session — but most clients are surprised by how manageable it is. And like all waxing, it gets easier with every appointment as hair grows back finer.
How long does a men's back wax take?
A full back wax typically takes 20–30 minutes. Chest waxing is similar. Brazilian appointments usually run 20–30 minutes for a first appointment, then 15–20 minutes for returning clients.
How long do results last?
Most clients see 4–5 weeks of smooth results. Regular waxing trains hair to grow back finer and sparser over time — so results improve and last longer the more consistently you come in.
How long does hair need to be before a wax?
About 1/4 inch — roughly a grain of rice. If you shave regularly, stop at least 2–3 weeks before your first appointment. Don't trim — it's easier for your specialist to work with natural growth.
