Does permanent makeup hurt?
We use topical numbing cream to minimize discomfort. Most clients describe the sensation as mild scratching or pressure rather than pain. The level of discomfort varies by service and individual sensitivity.
What is the healing process like?
Immediately after treatment, the color will appear darker and bolder — this is normal. Over 7–14 days, the pigment softens and settles to its true color. A touch-up appointment (typically 6–8 weeks later) refines the result.
What's the difference between microblading and powder brows?
Microblading uses a manual blade to create fine hair strokes — best for normal to dry skin. Powder brows use a machine to create a soft, filled-in makeup look — better for oily skin. We offer both, as well as combination techniques.
How do I prepare for my permanent makeup appointment?
Avoid alcohol, blood thinners, and retinol for 48 hours before. Don't wax or tint brows 2 weeks before your appointment. Arrive with your regular brow makeup on so we can see your preferred shape.
