Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By booking an appointment, purchasing a membership, or using the services of Bare Waxing Center & Bare Luxury Day Spa (“Bare,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to these Terms of Service. These terms apply to all clients at both our Midtown and Northside Tallahassee locations.

2. Appointments & Booking

All appointments are booked through Vagaro, our third-party scheduling platform. By booking, you agree to Vagaro's terms in addition to ours. Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of a confirmation email or text.

• Please arrive on time. Late arrivals may result in a shortened service or rescheduling.
• A valid form of contact (phone or email) is required to book.
• We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason consistent with applicable law.

3. Cancellation & No-Show Policy

We understand that life happens. However, last-minute cancellations and no-shows affect our specialists and other clients. Please review our policy:

• Cancellations with 24+ hours notice: No charge. You may reschedule at no fee.
• Cancellations within 24 hours: A cancellation fee may apply depending on the service. We will notify you at the time of booking if a deposit or fee is required.
• No-shows: Clients who do not show up without notice may be charged a no-show fee and/or required to prepay future appointments.
• Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in restricted booking privileges.

To cancel or reschedule, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance by calling (850) 591-9291 (Midtown) or (448) 230-3941 (Northside), or by managing your appointment through Vagaro.

4. Memberships

Bare memberships are month-to-month agreements that provide access to discounted services and exclusive member benefits. By enrolling in a membership, you agree to the following:

• Membership fees are billed monthly on your enrollment date.
• Monthly services do not roll over if unused within the billing cycle, unless otherwise communicated by staff.
• Members may swap their monthly service for another qualifying service of equal or lesser value, or gift it to a friend for a $10 transfer fee.
• Members earn points each visit, redeemable for complimentary upgrades.
• To cancel a membership, please provide written notice (email or in-person) at least 5 business days before your next billing date. Cancellations are not retroactive.
• Memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable for services already rendered.

5. Payments & Refunds

• Payment is due at the time of service. We accept all major credit/debit cards and contactless payment methods.
• Promotional pricing is valid only during the specified promotional period and cannot be combined with other offers unless stated.
• Refunds are not provided for completed services. If you are dissatisfied with a service, please contact us within 48 hours and we will work to make it right.
• Gift cards and pre-paid packages are non-refundable but are transferable.

6. Health, Safety & Informed Consent

Many of our services involve skin care treatments, and some (including microneedling, permanent cosmetic makeup, scar camouflage tattooing, and corrective skincare) are advanced procedures. For your safety:

• You are responsible for disclosing any relevant health conditions, medications, allergies, or skin sensitivities prior to your service.
• You may be asked to complete a health intake form before advanced treatments. This information is kept confidential and used solely to provide safe, appropriate care.
• Bare reserves the right to decline or modify a service if, in the specialist's professional judgment, proceeding would not be safe for the client.
• Results from skin care treatments vary by individual. We do not guarantee specific outcomes.
• Clients undergoing advanced procedures (microneedling, permanent cosmetics, scar camouflage) will be asked to sign a separate informed consent form prior to service.

7. Spa Parties & Group Events

Group events, bridal parties, and spa packages are subject to a separate agreement and deposit. Please contact us to inquire about availability and group pricing. Deposits for events are non-refundable within 72 hours of the event date.

8. Children & Minors

Clients under the age of 18 must have written parental or guardian consent for services. A parent or guardian must be present for clients under 16. We are a professional environment — please make arrangements for childcare when visiting for your appointment.

9. Limitation of Liability

Bare Waxing Center & Bare Luxury Day Spa is not liable for any adverse reactions, injuries, or outcomes resulting from services where accurate health information was not disclosed by the client prior to the service. Our liability is limited to the cost of the service received.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of Leon County, Florida.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
